Okay, now it's time to tell our story.

You already know that DEPDC was established in 1989 in Mae Sai district by Mr. Sompop Jantraka. Now that it has grown into a center that now supports over 400 children each year.

And here we are, the second office was established in Chiang Khong in 2006 with an intention to protect children living in this area from human trafficking risks.
Chiang Khong is the bridge gateway between Thailand and Laos. It is often a departure, gateway, and destination of human trafficking.

Our vision:

The vision of DEPDC is to prevent trafficking of children and women

into the sex industry or other exploitative labor situations.

Our objective:

  • To increase access to education
  • To develop life skills of the underprivileged children, youths, and communities
  • To develop children's capacity in intelligence and social ethics

We normally operate in Chiang Khong, Vieng Gang, Doi Lueng.
However, we accept children with problems from any other districts, provinces and countries.
