Welcome to DEPDC Chiang Khong!
Sawasdee ka (krup), we are Development and Education Programme for Daughters and Communities (DEPDC), a non-profit non-government organization.
We have our offices in Mae Sai and Chiang Khong (both in Chiang Rai province in northern Thailand), and this website is for a Chiang Khong child centre.
We acknowledge and confront plenty of problematic issues regarding human trafficking/child labour in northern Thailand, particularly here in Chiang Khong.
In an effort of our various projects, we endeavour to prevent children from human trafficking and any related risks, while also strengthening their capacity to develop self-reliance and life skills.
We are hoping that the Thai society will no longer need our organization - eventually every single child in Thailand will be free from fear of human trafficking as well as despair of tomorrow.
We appreciate your attention, care, and eventual help to make our progress closer to our goal.
